This memo was drafted in response to the brainstorm session that was held during an NSU meeting following Mahmoud Abbas's trip to Washington, DC. In this document, various NSU advisors suggest ways to respond to Netanyahu's speech, and create an international media campaign to communicate the Palestinian response (the Government of Israel has taken permanent status issues off the table- refugees, Jerusalem, security-and so Palestinians are left with nothing to negotiate, the conditions Israel used to qualify support for a Palestinian state (demilitarized etc) make a viable, independent and sovereign Palestinian state impossible, among many other issues).
